The quick answer is: You can generally edit any field at any time. The only proviso is that if you have bookings against an activity, then some of your fields will be locked for editing. This is explained here
Editing activities is the simple way to make quick changes to your schedules. We encourage you to always keep your schedules fresh, relevant and up to date with appealing & exciting descriptions, and appropriate pricing and capacities for your business.. Make your activities work for your business!
Here’s how it works:
You will always be able to edit either:
A Single activity: You want to make a change to the activity just for that particular date and time. Example would be a last minute change of instructor that only applies to that one particular session, and not to all of the future recurrences of that activity.
All Future Recurrences of that activity. This is where the edit/change you wish to make is intended to be permanent from the date of the change. An example here would be if you wished to change the Location of the activity from one room to another, and you wish that change to be made to all of the future recurrences of that activity.
The above two options will be presented to you when you click on “Save” – but please note that there are some limiations on what you can change if you have bookings against these activities.
Here’s a list of the fields you can Edit, and links to further information about them:
Date – cannot be edited if there are bookings.
Start Time – cannot be edited if there are bookings.
Duration (mins) – cannot be edited if there are bookings.
Address / Alternate Address – cannot be edited if there are bookings.
Setting Recurrences – cannot be edited if there are bookings.
